Wanted: Eco-team Participants

Temperatures are falling and energy bills are rising!
Would you like to know what your carbon footprint is, take simple steps to reduce it, save money on energy, have fun, and get to know fellow Lincolnparents?

If so, please consider joining a Lincoln Schooleco-team that will meet just 3-4 times (approximately weekly) to learn about, discuss, and pursue "carbon-reducing" actions. Teams consist of approximately 8 people. You can sign up as a ready-to-go team with friends and neighbors or on your own and we will create a team for you. Each meeting lasts 1.5 to 2 hours. A short, interesting and easy workbook entitled Low Carbon Diet by David Gershon is used as a guide (copies are available at Winchester Library or for sale at Bookends for $10.36 - a 20% discount).

If you think you might be interested in participating in an eco-team for anytime this year, please e-mail Ingrid Geis at idgeis@comcast.net. Please include your name, phone number, and e-mail address. Thank you for being on the forefront of the Cool Winchester* initiative!

* Cool Winchester is part of a national campaign aimed at helping households reduce their annual carbon footprint by 25%. For more information, see www.sustainablewinchester.org/coolwinchester.
